Kaeli just had her last full day chemotherapy appointment in the clinic this last Tuesday. She is taking oral chemo and will be finished with it all this Friday, January 9th. Wow it is hard to believe that we are done with this phase of her treatment. It has been a long two and a half years but we have seen the hand of our Lord all the way through it. Thank you for all of your prayers and support. We could not have walked this journey with out you. We ask that you continue to pray for her. Kaeli still has many appointments ahead of her consisting of primarily occupational therapy sessions to help address some of the cognitive delays resulting from the chemotherapy. We also found out that Kaeli’s body is no longer producing immune fighting agents. In other words even though she has been receiving monthly doses of medicine to help boost her immune system her counts are not raising. The doctors are not sure why and are concerned. This will need to be addressed in the up coming months but we are waiting to see if once her body is no longer receiving chemotherapy if her body will kick back in. Please continue to partner with us in prayer for our Kaeli girl. She is delighted that she is finished with her chemotherapy but was concerned that the nurses would miss her. What a sweet heart she is!
